Bowden Tube Protector (M8)

I noticed when testing out my new Z-Height after an upgrade that my bowden tube would be rubbing on the M8 bar at the top of the machine frame while printing upper layers. Wanted a quick fix so I knocked this up in autocad, it's a simple cover that clips onto the M8 bar and protects the bowden tube from rubbing along the thread (ouch!)

It fits well on my reprappro mendel - it may not work for people with the tricolor configuration because the extruders mount up top (but you can move them if y
