Modifications and parts to add a Pololu part number 3499 20ppr motor encoder to an MY1018-1 24VDC 450W gear motor.

Please go through the included pdf file for instructions and lots of pictures.

Have only done basic testing with Roboclaw 2x60A motor controller. Get about 1200 pps at full speed. Need to finish building the rover before proper testing.
