I inherited an Origin8 MT-3100 hub, which is a front 15 mm thru-axle hub. Interestingly, this is a "flush-axle" hub, meaning that the hub axle is nearly flush with the end faces of the hub. The effective "OLD" is 78 mm, making it impossible to use without the endcaps.

As luck would have it, I didn't have the endcaps. Origin8 kindly sent me some, but my bike is stuck with 12 x 100 mm TA in the front, so I wanted to take the dimensions down & make my own 12 mm endcaps.
