Toothed Pulley Wheel

Just an experiment on belt tension/flexing. When the belt is on a plain pulley there is very little surface area contact which could lead to flex in X/Y axis when changing direction fast.
If you spread the tension across the full profile of the tooth then flex should be less.

Anyway try it & make up your own mind.
