32mm Bottle Trap

In all honesty theses drainage traps are quite unique to our needs and may be of no use to anyone else, except perhaps to steal ideas or concepts.

Our caravan [Which you would assume would be self contained] needed a New Zealand approved “blue sticker” to gather revenue, prove that it was self contained and try to dissuade freedom campers from coming to our country – despite investing heavily in advertising us as a tourist destination. Apparently we only want tourists with lots of money… Rant over!

I didn’t want to pull out the poxy, small diameter flexible pipework and clearances at each location for the sink, shower and basin were, annoyingly, slightly different. The final installation was done with 32mm ID PVC pipe and required standard threaded connectors and washers between the traps and the PVC pipe. Since then I had wondered about adapting the threaded connector from my previous post [32mm Union] and making that fit, but that is just a flight of fancy at the moment as all
