Monoprice Select Mini MK8 (creality style) extruder spacer

I recently purchased this Mk8 extruder for my Mini v2. This Mk8 extruder is recommended for the Creality printers but I figured I'd give it a shot since it should be better for printing flexibles. Unfortunately, when I went to assemble it using the stock extruder gear and a 4x10x4 bearing, The filament hole was too low for the filament to run in the channel of the extruder gear. Initially I used some washers to make up the distance while I designed this spacer plate to make up the distance. The
