3D Part Sample

3D printing is an additive technology used to produce parts. It is "additive" in that it does not require a block of material or a mold to make physical objects, it simply stacks and connects layers of material. It is typically fast, with low fixed setup costs, and with an ever-expanding material list, more complex geometries can be created than "traditional" technologies. It is widely used in the machine industry, especially for prototyping and light geometries.
