3D printed microscope

In elementary school classrooms, it is uncommon to see a several hundred dollar microscope. This microscope design can change that. It is similar in function to many others on the web that inspired this design. However, it is more compact, cheaper, and easier to put together than most. Using around $10-$15 worth of parts, a 3D printer, a smartphone, and about 10 minutes of building time, a decent quality microscope can be built.
