MakerBot 2X : Automatic Door Latch

Due to the camera I recently attached to the front door of my MakerBot (Details of which can be found on my profile), the added mass prevents the door from remaining open. To overcome this I decided to design a latch which would automatically hold the door open, when needed.

It mounts to the 2X using the existing external bolt holes, however requires longer bolts. A 3mm metal rod is also used as the axis.
