The Uber tanks get all the press and fans but having something that can deliver your troops to the objective can make or break a game. The Italian Army list offers a paltry list of transport option, compared to the lengthy German or British transport list, but can provide some good options. You don’t want to pay the point cost of a truck when you only need to transport one or two small teams – a flame thrower team for instance. The perfect vehicle to do so is the Fiat 508 Coloniale. The Coloniale was based on the pre-war civilian Fiat 508 Balilla. Powered by a 32 HP engine, the two-wheel-drive car was used by Italy and Germany used it on both the African and Eastern fronts during World War II.
