Available sizes Large – 1:35 of the actual size | Normal, Hollow & Pre-supported versions Description Xiphactinus audax was a giant predatory fish that lived during the Late Cretaceous Period, about 100–66 million years ago, in the ancient seas that once covered North America. Reaching lengths of up to 6 meters (20 feet), it was one of the largest bony fish of its time. Its streamlined body, powerful tail, and large jaws lined with sharp teeth made it a formidable hunter. Fossils have revealed remarkably preserved stomach contents, including entire fish swallowed whole. Despite its fearsome appearance, Xiphactinus was not a dinosaur but a marine fish that dominated the oceans alongside mosasaurs, plesiosaurs, and sharks. Additional Details Chitubox file provided if you want to resize the model. Care should be taken when removing supports. Using a heat gun or a blow dryer is highly recommended.
