Model Description:This download contains a highly detailed model of a World War 2 version Chaffee light tank. Documentation and references for the real vehicle were rigorously studied to make the model as geometrically accurate as possible, except in the cases where printability would have to be sacrificed (such as the fender thickness). Historical Description:The M24 Chaffee was an American light tank used towards the end of World War 2 and during the Korean War. It was designed to replace the dated M3 and M5 Stuart designs, notably featuring a 75mm cannon, the same as found on early M4 Shermans. The vehicle was meant for reconnaissance but could engage enemy armor if needed.
