Byzantine Greek Fire Siege Cart – 28mm/32mm STL | Wargaming Terrain

Here's something you won't find anywhere else on MMF — a wheeled Greek fire projector, the kind of nasty piece of kit the Byzantines used to make sieges absolutely miserable for anyone on the receiving end. The cart itself is a simple covered wagon with a shingled roof (keeps the crew and the mixture dry, presumably), but the business end is the chain-suspended cauldron rig out front — a swinging pot setup that would have held the incendiary mixture before it got pumped or hurled at whoever was unlucky enough to be attacking that day. There's a second cauldron tucked under the cart's roof too, so you've got the full setup: mixing, storage, and delivery all in one piece. I built this with a lot of wood grain detail on the cart frame and roof shingles, and the chains on the swinging cauldron actually look like chains — little linked details rather than a solid sculpted mass. Wheels are properly spoked. It's a working piece of equipment, not just a prop. Good for: Byzantine, Eastern R
