I recommend taking a look at my new Tantillus Compact Ultimaker Slider Adapters instead.

As I modified my Tantillus I realized it worked just like an Ultimaker, and since I literally have changed everything I named my build Ultius.
They use the standard 17mm spacing between XY rods' center.
These XY ends are the effort of countless iterations of XY ends. They are quite sturdy and the XY rods are fixed with grub screws.
The top has been lowered
