IntroductionI designed these panels for a friend setting up a home recording studio, aiming for simplicity and cost-effectiveness in their production.Acoustic diffusers play a crucial role in sound optimization within a space. Primarily designed to enhance sound perception and mitigate issues related to unwanted reflections, they are vital in creating a balanced and pleasing auditory environment. Commonly utilized in recording studios, conference rooms, music studios, and dedicated home audio spaces, these diffusers reduce, and in some cases eliminate, undesired phenomena like reverberation and echo. The object I designed and 3D printed is NOT meant to replace what's used in professional anechoic chambers. Plastic isn't the ideal material, but in a room used as a "home studio" – at an amateur level – this solution has actually improved the sound quality at a very, very low cost.I hope it's obvious to everyone that EVA foam is a better solution, but the cost of an EV
