Just wanted to change the metal electronics casing of the Anet A8 Plus with a non-metal version with better access to all terminals and provide strain reliefs all over.
So, the base is ok and was printed correctly. (see photo's)
The closure is made through small 8 mm magnets. So easy to open when needed.
The supports for the heated cable on the left side of the casing can be removed, so you will end up with a circular cable entry. My intention is to use 3mm Filament to be added to the heated cable to give more support. Furthermore on top I provided additional wholes with support for nuts (M3) in case someone wants to add additional cable support etc.
July 22nd 2019 - REMARK: The lid can be printed without any problems now.
BUT: First I used Prusa Slic3r to generate the gcode and that gave very bad result.
When slicing the lid with Cura it now prints fine.
July 20th 2019 - WARNING: the lid (Deksel) with hexagonal grid is design wise correct and fits the box nicely.
