mn=1.75 mm, alpha=20°,beta=26°R, gamma=60°, z1=10, z2=80, x1=0.5000, x2=0.0000, Cb1=0.05 mm, Cb2=0.05 mm. The pinion has 0.05 mm clearance (backlash) per flank in addition. Both, pinion and gear have 0.05 mm lead crown (Cb). The flanks are computed, so the Conjugate Action Law is obeyed. The gear root is computed with a sharp cutter wheel, the pinion is computed with a rack cutter having 0.38*1.75 mm tip fillet. I know the math how to compute the gear root with a cutter fillet, had no time (and spirits) to program it yet. The sharp cutter fillet gives marginally more clearance for the pinion tooth in the gear tooth space at its bottom. I am just 3-D printing 1:1 both on the Ultimaker II in ABS. IT IS NOT A BEVEL GEAR PAIR BUT CROWN GEAR SET! The pinion can be moved along its axis, only the gear needs to be axially adjusted (shimmed). Load capacity of crown gears is 85-90% of bevel gears of comparable size but their adjustment is much simpler. The data is quite large, because the surfs are computed using large numbers of points. Therefore is the accuracy good.
