Babylon 5 Cerberus Class Mine Layer

So here’s probably one of the upper most bad ass ships I’ve remixed to date. The ship started out as the mothballed Olympus Corvette until, saved by innovation. The ships been heavily modified to take up a daring Mine Sweeper Role. If you’re not familiar, check out the WW2 Mine Sweepers and missions.

She’s been elongated by doner ships to house Mine Laying Starfury’s. I’ll Include them here along with the mines. So the Forecastle is encompassed with Launch Catapaults and hexagonal rotisarry style hanger bays to carry out its primary role mentioned above. The hull exension is needed for hanger deck duties and munitions storage. The Engines have been modified for greater speed. She’s been outfitted with multiple Anti Ship Cannons and Anti Fighter Cannons as well as visible Defense Grid Batteries. This is all part of the ships Design Intent. I can not express enough how important geometry matters in off planet construction. Placement wise, these ships are not ideal
