Back and forth thread

A ring on a pin that goes back and forward when turned in one direction .. .

If you are going to print this, you will have to make 4 parts, the middle, 2x the ring and the slider.
then glue the two rings together with the slider in it. . .



BE AWARE,, i did a lot of work afterwards, making the thread deeper, sanding down the slider a bit etc. . .

but i ended up with a nice toy ..

The openscad source is also there, you could make the thread on the rod a bit deeper, that might make it easier to get it working. . .

at the top of the OpenScad file there is a section that selects what to render, so you can export the STL's of all parts separately
