Basic Aquarium filter

I built this simple filter to use with filter cotton. It fits perfectly onto a soft tube with a 12 mm inner diameter. I used it because I hadn’t rinsed the gravel and the water was cloudy. I left the filter connected to a submersible pump for a couple of days, and the water became clear again.
