The quadrant was used by sailors to find the latitude while at sea. It was also used by surveyors to measure the height of buildings and mountains.

WARNING: DO NOT LOOK AT THE SUN THROUGH THE VIEWPIECE!

This works best if you print the quadrant and the alidade/pointer in contrasting colors.

The quadrant mother board is roughly 135 mm x 150 mm x 20 mm and uses 74 g of filament.

The quadrant alidade is roughly 30 mm x 110 mm x 5 mm and uses 5 g of filament.
