Basic sensor collection

This project is dedicated to building a set of simplest bread boards to show principles of reading world data in different environments.

The resulting set of bread boards could be useful for those who want to study and understand how sofisticated sensor systems work through learning the simplest design possible. Boards' eagle files included in the project could also be used to start a more advanced sensor solution project by simple adding/editing components.

Each sensor board is represented with an Eagle schematic and board file, those are supplied with essential datasheets. To test sensor readings each board has an integrated RS-232 communication port. Basic C/python programs are provided to test the sensor in real environment via computer visualisation/interaction.

The project was inspired by Neil Gershenfeld's work, his class in Fab Academy and still has code written by him.

Provided design files are for Eagle CAD V6.5.
