Bassoon boot joint cap

I got my hands on a poor old abused/neglected Lark bassoon. Amongst other things, it's missing the boot joint cap. So here's a simple printable one.

Will it fit your bassoon? Is it safe to use? Will your orchestra director pitch a fit if you print one in rainbow filament? Will the sun consume the earth before life leaves this little blue cradle to wander the cosmos?
