bottle_cap

bottle_cap is an example for printable threads, sealing design, round grip geometry, and food-safe coating on ABS polymer. Several parameters are implemented in the SOLIDWORKS model so you can quickly adjust threads for new needs. Reuse the geometry and adjust the parameters to keep printability and crank out new variations. The use case is for glass bottles, 0.45 and 0.50 liters, common for beverages like kombucha. The cap accepts a 35mm sealing gasket as shown. It has also been tested with a food-grade coating, using 1:1 epoxy. See qr.net/openlabproject for more documentation!
