Bucket elevator

GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Bucket elevator designed for the needs of vertical transport of vegetables. FROM MASTER THESIS: The first chapter describes historical development, principle of operation and the main parts of the bucket elevators. In the second chapter, based on the selection of five types of vegetables, the first part of the calculation is being performed, which primarily defines elevator speed, capacity and the method for material loading and unloading. In the second part of the calculation, the elevator buckets and drums are being selected as well as the elevator belt for which the tension forces has been calculated. The calculation for the elevator drive parts has been carried out as well. Complete calculation was created and supported using the "Excel" software package, which allows the complete calculation to be obtained by inserting the input parameters. The highlight of the work is the development of a 3D model of the bucket elevator for vertical transport of vegetables.
