This model is to help calibrate your 3D printer and it helps eliminate the error that callipers can have because the larger the model the less error the calliper will have meaning for a small calibration cube it would have greater error causing people to adjust their 3D printers to compensate when it isn't necessary. The multicolour print makes it easier to see problems but isn't required as it wasn't designed for checking for errors like bed adhesion, layer adhesion and so on. Using the image provided you can use a calliper to measure the parts of the calibration square to make sure that they are the size they are meant to be. 15% infill with 2 walls and 0.2mm layers works well but the smaller the layers the more precise it will be. No supports are needed. Print in PLA or PLA+ for best results with little to no expansion or shrinking but of course you can use all filament types just they will obviously have more or less shrinking and expansion, so you'll need to account for that.I may post a video soon on YouTube on printing this.YouTube channel - Science LearnerYouTube channel - Science Learner - Deep diveIf you have any questions either comment below or email me at [email protected]!Keep printing,-@Science Learnerhttps://www.crealitycloud.com/user/7413042540
