Thank you for downloading my camera mount for 3D printers.
About the model:
This camera mount is designed to attach a webcam to the 40-2020 extrusion commonly used for 3D printers. You can adjust the position by loosening the M3 screws of the arms and/or the M4 screws in the base block (part D), then tightening them after positioning.
Optionally, you can use zip ties to organize the cables along with the arms (part A, B, and C), as shown in the example pictures. The base block also features a slot to secure a cable with a 3mm diameter, facilitating cable management and maintaining a tidy appearance.
Positioning in FDM:
For Parts A, B, and C:
It is recommended to lay these parts flat on the bed to ensure strength along their length. Printing them upright (in the z-direction) may lead to instability during printing and reduced strength across layers.
For Part D:
This part should be placed with its top surface flat on the bed. The screw holes have sufficient c
