Command Platform

This was made for requirements specific to my circumstances and while not universally useful for those without the selected gadgets I had in mind, I believe the design can be customised for a variety of other gadgets.

Before I thought of this, I had an Apple Wireless Keyboard and a Bamboo Pen and Touch Tablet all wirelessly connected to a TV display. (shown in the gallery) The devices were kept separate when not on a platform I had cobbled together from an old bookstand.

With the bookstand as my source of inspiration, I designed this rather inclined shape with a base wide enough to fit across my lap. The space in between also allows me to insert other remote sensing devices like the TV remote and aircon remote.

As a side benefit, the platform can also act as an inclined laptop stand!

Future versions would have smaller dimensions as I realise I was a bit conservative and generous with my measured estimates. Hope you guys enjoy!
