Compact Screw Measuring Tool

In this project, I set out to create a compact, all-in-one screw measuring tool. This device measures both screw diameter and length, covering sizes from M2–M8 and lengths from 4–50 mm. This range is sufficient for the vast majority of tasks involving 3D printers, as well as general DIY projects around the home. The design prioritises efficiency and portability, making it one of the most compact tools of its type.Measuring screws is intuitive and straightforward. Each length marking is clearly labelled, with an engraved guide line indicating the corresponding screw length. When the tool is flipped over, six precisely sized holes are visible, each labelled with the screw diameter it accommodates, allowing for quick and accurate identification.Multi-colour prints without AMSAlthough this print was produced using the Bambu Lab AMS, the design is equally suitable for printers without an AMS.
