My sister is a math teacher and requested a print that could help her teach conic sections. I took a cone and made the 4 sections but then I wrapped pieces of the cone around the sections to make the illusion that the full cone is there but you are looking inside the cone at the sections caused by the planes crossing through it. This better helps students visualize what they are looking at.There are two sizes:Larger Size - 214.5 mm tall (8.44 inches)Regular Size - 143 mm tall (4.96 inches)Larger one is what is shown in the pictures and what I recommend for most printers. The smaller one was made for those with a smaller bed size.3D printing settings:*No Support needed*10% infill is fine and what I have used, but you can use 20% if you want*I suggest 3 walls*PLA works great but I made it in PETG*Make sure you have good bed adhesion*I printed on a K1C as referencePlease feel free to share images of your prints on this page, I would love to see the colors you decide to go with.
