About the modelTo help focus the learner’s attention, this model is color coded. White shows the parts that we would find in a regular one propeller plane. Black is everything that is out of scope. The gearbox could be implemented in various different ways (bevel gears, spur gears, planetary gears, etc.) but this is not what the model is trying to explain. Red is used to focus on the gear that makes this contra-rotating propellers. The blue gears (or use gray if you prefer) are technically out-of-scope but since they are necessary to bring the red and white gears together, they are not completely black. The propellers are colored in red and white to match the gears. Their only function though is to link back to the colors of the gears and to indicate the direction of air flow through means of a 45 degree angle. The actual design of propellers is not focus of this model. Everything should be printed in 0.28mm as in the provided print profile to ensure appropriate tolerances between part
