Converted Compression Spring

Inspired by: https://grabcad.com/yauhen-1 and his model: https://grabcad.com/library/draw-bar-spring-1 A design concept/proposal, how to use a COMPRESSION SPRING as an alternative TENSION SPRING. Notes: For my design I used a winding ratio of 1 to 4 (wire diameter / average coil diameter) The wire diameter of my compression spring is 3 mm The average coil diameter is 12 mm The number of windings and the neutral length are arbitrarily chosen. The model is available in following data formats: STEP file (.stp) of the assembly, and all native files (.prt) and (.asm), in a (.7z) folder, for users of »PTC Creo Parametric 2.0«
