I genuinely believe everything that can be marketed for a bike has been marketed for a bike. So I set out to design something truly unique. This device uses the concept of a cyclogyro or a vertical axis wind turbine to spin a (half) cob of corn while you pedal. Print area is too small to fit a full corn cob. Now you can eat your corn hands free while riding! The axle straps to the handle bar however the user wants, and the wheels spin around the axle once the user hits an adequate speed. The wheels utilize 4 naca 0012 airfoils mounted a 6 degree angle of attack. I wanted to use a symmetric airfoil to simplify the design. No analysis was done on proper airfoil selection or any aerodynamics but the concept is taken from a vertical axis wind turbine. The part can be printed as one piece but the wheels will have to be broken off from the axle so they can spin. It was fun designing this concept and I hope you guys enjoy!
