CPU Case / Cover (Customizable)

This is a customizable Processor (CPU) cover to prevent the CPU pins from being damaged. This is particularly useful for storage and shipping of used CPUs. It is designed with the intend to save filament while still protecting the CPU.

The default STL file was made vor CPUs using the AMD AM3 or AM3+ socket, but it may work for other CPUs as well, check the measurements:
CPU length/width: 40mm
Pin length: 2mm
Corner-triangles: 2.5mm

You may also download the OpenSCAD file to adjust those values for other CPUs or use the online Customizer (click on Apps). Any CPU that has no pins on all 4 corners should be compatible with this model.
