Crane

This is a project that my Kids and I did over the school holidays. we have designed and printed it. It is our interpretation of all the cranes we see in our local area putting up multi story units where there was once period homes.

I have included the original 123 Design file and STl's. I have cleaned up and reduced the number of STL's. it has been laid out to print on a 250mm x 250mm bed.

A little filing and sanding may be required to get a neat fit on the parts.

The only part glued on in our example is the pin that holds the base to the tower.

3X3mm magnets were used on the hook so the kids could easily change them over.

On our example we have included 8 segments in the base, but have only included one in the STL's.

Ours Stands 1000mm to the top of the boom as shown in the photos
