Crystal Christmas Tree

A christmas tree with abstract form factor inspire by crystal pillar. There are 80 pillars with random height, it seems like a green crystal forest while it's also a tree. Inspired by architecture design, the overall silhouette looks like a cityline of a morden city with a high tower in the center. Printing with PLA Silk filament will enhance the reflection on each pillar facing different directions. A separate base can assemble with the mainbody, you can also try with different color match. Designed in Rhino Grasshopper, a simple progamme is written to generate the pattern and raise the pillar to become a tree.
