This is a 6 inch curve ruler. It can be used to measure curves or straight lines with pretty good precision! For longer measurements, simply count each revolution and divide by 2 to determine how many feet. The ruler is designed with a satisfying “click” as the wheel turns and a slightly larger “click” at each full revolution. Assembly requires 6704zz bearing and 3mmx4mm ball spring plunger. Both are available in the Maker's Supply. Included is a version with a TPU traction ring to help prevent slipping as the all PLA version may lose traction on smooth surfaces. This design was inspired by a (very cool) curve measuring device seen on Titaner.com.
