A button board with a case, the buttons are pressed through the mesh on the top! Comes in two parts, top panel and bottom panel!
You can add paper with labels on top, and a transparent plastic panel to protect the paper, and it still works! I added my labels to the images on Thingiverse so you can use them if you want!
This is my new control board for my Ender 3, I was annoyed by the menus inside menus inside menus on Ender's interface, and I'd rather have buttons for everything! This is going on my Raspberry pi running Octopi, buttons will send commands to the OctoPrint server using [this Bash script](https://gitlab.com/MRAAGH/d/-/blob/master/bin/octorest)!
You need:
- a prototype board (any size)
- a bunch of buttons
- some wires
- screws
You can customize the model to fit any prototype board and button arrangement! But only one button per row in this model.
If you are using Raspberry pi, no additional hardware is required. If you are using Arduino, you might need
