Delineation tool

This delineation tool is designed for efficiently tracing conventional AFOs and KAFOs with improved accuracy and comfort. The tool uses a standard Bic pen ink cartridge for smooth, consistent marking—just bend the cartridge tip to a 45-degree angle and insert it into the pen holder. Ink provides a cleaner, more reliable trace compared to pencil lead, which can break or smudge during use.
The model accommodates two 22mm ball bearings, the same size used in skateboard and scooter wheels, allowing the vertical arm of the tool to roll gently across the patient’s skin rather than pulling on it. This rolling motion reduces friction and hair tugging, making the tracing process more comfortable for patients while maintaining precision.
