Dewalt DWS709 Insert

This is an insert designed for my Dewalt 12 inch Sliding Miter Saw Model DWS 709.

To print the full size model you will need a bed that can print a 333 mm long model. I have cut the model in half so it may be printed on a smaller bed. Two options to choose from, with a slot and without a slot. The Slot is about 3/16" or 4.76 mm wide. I chose to Print the model without a slot and cut the slot with the saw and I use a Thin Kerf blade. When cutting with the saw some melted above the slot. I ran a very sharp chisel down the top side to remove the melted material.

Although not tested, the half models may be glued together with CA glues after printing.
