A spring door stopper, to prevent your door and/or handle bashing and damaging the wall. The spring catches the door, stops at full compression preventing the door and wall connecting, and gently pushes the door back a little. This stopper has been installed in a teenagers bedroom and bathroom for a few months now and is still working well. If it does ever break, a new spring can be printed and swapped for the old, without changing the base mount, and without tools (3D printer required obviously).Design is modular and adaptable, containing 3 different spring lengths, and two thicknesses of base mount. The base mounts can be used alone; combined small first and then large; or multiple large ones chained together. Then the spring of your chosen length inserted. Using the different spring lengths and base plate configurations enable this door stopper can be adapted for different doors, handle sizes, and distances to the wall. Springs can be easily removed, replaced with different lengths springs, or new spring prints. The base plates have a counter sunk screw hole for installation (small screws), or can be just stuck to the wall surface. The photos show the bases screwed to wood skirting board, and stuck to bathroom tiles (with combined base plates due to no skirting board, therefore, a bigger gap to the door). The screw must be fully flush with the base to enable the spring to be inserted. When compressed fully the spring will have no further travel so ensure the door and/or handle is not touching the wall at full compression. As a guide the length of springs (with small base) when fully compressed are:- Large Spring (small base) length a full compression = 64mm- Medium Spring (small base) length a full compression = 54mm- Small Spring (small base) length a full compression = 42 mmThe small base is 3mm thickThe large base is 10mm thick, and can be chained together in multiples of 10mm.
