Each cell is 1 inch by 1 inch. Dimension of grid is 7" X 10" to fit on standard letter size paper and barely fit the A1 print plate. Use: First, attach grid to paper with tape or any method that works for you. Second, use the grid as a stencil, tracing along the edges. I recommend always tracing on the same side. For example, trace along the left and top sides of each cell, not the full box. This way each cell is exactly 1" by 1" and not a bunch of separated squares.(I might later design a better stencil where there aren't gaps in the lines) Third, remove the grid. Lastly, use your method of choice to add grid to your reference image. Make sure its no larger than 7 X 10 and that the grid is made up of squares. An easy method I used was this free website: https://www.photomultitool.com/grid.
