The Dremel Slicer tool will help you to make perfectly straight cuts in many materials with a rotary tool such as the Dremel 4000.
Print the parts provided, two of the base part. Note that there are two different sizes of the Base, print ONE of those two, twice. Dremel_Slicer_Base is shown in the pictures, Dremel_Slicer_Base_Short is the same thing but it holds the cutting board about 6mm lower. Again, print two of the same, not one of each.
In addition to the printed parts you will need two 8mm steel shafts, four LM8UU linear bearings, a 4mm x 35mm bolt and nut, a 3mm x 60mm steel shaft, and two small sheet metal or wood screws. You will also need a Dremel 4000 or similar rotary tool.
All of the above parts, except for the bearings, I salvaged from old equipment but they should be fairly easy to find online. The 8mm shafts came out of a couple of old inkjet printers, the 3mm shaft came from an old CD ROM drive they pretty much all have one. If you cannot find the 3mm shaft,
