I found this hand auger drill at a church thrift store. It had a masking tape loosely wrapped around the handle. Evidently, the wood handle had been lost to history. Rather than build a two piece clamshell design, I went with a one piece design. The slot could not be horizontal on the three-D printer, so I angled it. I had built a test piece and found out that the Lulzbot could do a 65 degree overhang. So the slot is at 25 degree off horizontal. Maybe a mating piece to fill the slot at a later date.
The drill is now in use in the Harwich MakerSpace on Cape Cod.
