Dual Pattern Step Structure

The Dual Pattern Step Structure incorporates two alternating step patterns for variable gravity applications integrated into an aluminum frame that is optimized for deck aperture sizes and variable gravity crew passage. One step pattern serves Earth gravity and another serves Martian and lunar gravity. Sufficient free volume for crew movement up and down is provided between vertically-aligned structures. A tailor-made method of carrying trays uses the steps as temporary restraints during ascent or descent. One structure connects two deck levels and repeats for as many levels as required. Simple guardrails enclose aperture sides on upper decks as required. One structure has an approximate mass of 66 kilograms.
