Easier assembling inner/outer wheel connection

I want to start out with saying I love this model, I have printed 4 of them now:
2 at 50%
1 at 100%
1 at 75%

Biggest thing that I didn't like was how hard it was to fit the inner and outer wheels together, so on the last one I built I ended up snipping the inner wheel like the part I have modified on Tinker CAD.

the results an easier fitting wheel component, I hope this saves a few fingers and thumbs from the pain I have felt for this awesome cube.
