It's an LED-cover for the LED-ring on the Amazon ECHO (2nd Generation). It fits very tight around the top of the ECHO cylinder and covers the LED-ring. The purpose is to prevent the ECHO from being lit up in a dark bedroom at night when asking Alexa something. Unfortunately the LED-ring can not be deactivated by software settings within the Alexa app so this is a mechanical workaround. For me it works very well.
