Engine components

An engine consists of key components that work together to convert fuel into mechanical energy. The **cylinder head** sits atop the block, containing the combustion chambers and valves. Inside the cylinders, **pistons** move up and down, converting combustion energy into mechanical motion, which is transferred to the **crankshaft** to produce rotational motion. The **camshaft** controls the opening and closing of the intake and exhaust valves.
