Expanding Drawer Slide

So, the home improvement store sells guides... but they don't sell the moulding that goes with it. This one slides closed to fit a 1 1/2" x 1/4" strip (which they do sell), and if you have an issue with it coming open, there is a 2mm hole so you can drop a locking pin (or bit of filament) in.

Eh... I added a latch so it will just snap shut. Pop it back open with a screwdriver.
