I'm designing a variation of one of my model rockets to be inspired by a couple of my favorite WWII Warbirds (thing coming later), one of which is the F4U Corsair. To this end I needed a mock up of the motor. So I took Qrome's radial engine and modified it to add valve heads and rods and worked it into my design. I liked the result so much I decided to make a "Static Display" version for hanging on the wall or putting on your desk. This is not intended to be a truly accurate model of the F4U's nose assembly. I made no effort to check if anything was to scale. It's more a representation of the thing. If you wish to make it without painting, like I did, you will need the following filament colors: * Black for the base and propellers * Navy blue for the cowling * Silver for the engine parts and spinner * Blue-Grey for the engine front * Yellow for the propeller tips. Print the propellers standing up and pause the printer at the right height to switch from black to yellow filament. This is designed to use a 6700zz bearing pressed into the engine front with a peg that goes into that and the spinner, allowing it to spin. Note, tolerances are tight so sanding is likely going to be necessary to press everything together. You should be able to assemble this WITHOUT gluing and have it stay together.
